This book is good!! The emotional intelligence that Monica and Sir display through their nontraditional relationship is my FAVORITE part! Ms. Sharonda you captured a point of view many women don’t want to see or don’t understand. That man will always come home! When Monica laughed at Cookie!!! So did I cause yes! Know where the power lies babygirl!! 😘I applaud Sir as well. His display of love and protection over Monica is what women dream of while living in a space that would make even the very tough Monica uncomfortable at times. Great job giving us a view of unconditional love, vulnerability, truth, & trust. I can’t wait to see where Monica and Sir’s adventures take us. Keep pushing emotional intelligence, awareness, and true unconditional love into our communities.
